A thriving creative sector is a powerful economic development asset which can be parlayed into other cultural and civic benefits. Exposing Long Island residents to beautiful, culturally significant arts programming will strengthen understanding, appreciation, and goodwill between people of different backgrounds. A significant number of people who travel through Wyandanch or who have heard of its steady community leader-led transformation will be exposed to all that Wyandanch, Wyandanch Village, and the new plaza have to offer.
